Iwami Province, Mount Takazuno, Salt Beach, 1853 - Interesting depiction of the salt beach at the foot of Mount Takazuno. In the foreground, laborers carry their wooden buckets across beach after collecting seawater to process into salt, while other workers rake the salt fields. Pin tree dot the rounded mountain at left, a tori gate leading to the Kakinomoto Sanctuary above just visible at base. Nicely composed and detailed.

Condition - Good detail. Slight thinning along vertical centerfold, small losses at edges, a few holes, repaired. A few creases.
