Hasui's Doll Prints - Charming design from Hasui's series of 24 prints featuring traditional Japanese Gosho dolls. Gosho dolls typically represent chubby, cute babies with very white skin, and the dolls are widely popular in Japan, considered a classic art form with an ancient history. These attractive images were published in 1935 by Meiji-Shobo, and provide an interesting contrast to Hasui's more well-known landscapes.
