Famous Places in Edo: Asakusa Kinryuzan

Comments - Charming scene of two women and a boy paying a visit to Asakusa Kinryuzan Temple in Edo. The child hops on one foot excitedly as he watches a rooster and pigeons pecking at seeds on the ground. His mother smiles as she looks over her shoulder, holding a toy fish dangling from a slender pole. A border of clouds separates the figures from a view of the temple rooftop and pagoda among blossoming cherry trees, with Mt. Fuji in the distance. An attractive design.
