A Mirror of Filial Piety in Japan - Handsome design from Yoshitoshi's rarely seen chuban series "A Mirror of Filial Piety in Japan," which features portraits of men and women exemplifying filial piety. Figures are set into nicely detailed backgrounds, many with fine bokashi shading. This Yoshitoshi series is not well documented, and this is the first time we've seen these designs.

Condition - Nice color and detail. A couple creases at edges.
