Beauty with Poem Slip Kakemono

Comments - Terrific Kuniyoshi kakemono or vertical diptych of a beauty attaching a poem slip to a cherry tree. She smiles as she holds the verse up to the flowering branch covered with delicate pink and white blossoms. She wears a blue and white patterned kimono edged in rose, tied with a floral obi. A charming spring subject.
