Original Eisen (1790 - 1848) Japanese Woodblock Print
The Maiden Chiyo from Kaga Kakemono

Comments - Charming kakemono or vertical diptych of the beauty Chiyo from Kaga with a bucket in her hand, smiling happily as she lifts the edge of her kimono. Morning glories trail on the ground around her feet and wind up a bamboo frame at lower right. A lovely Edo era beauty portrait, nicely composed to fit the vertical format. The first time we've offered this Eisen design.

Artist - Eisen (1790 - 1848)

Image Size - 26 3/4" x 9"

Condition - Good detail. Backed with paper. A few horizontal creases.
