Yamashiro, Flowers of Arashiyama, Lady Kumano, No. 36 - Beautiful scene of Lady Kumano enjoying a view of the cherry blossoms at Arashiyama at sunset. The Togetsukyo Bridge stretches across the Oi River at left, a small waterfall visible in the hills beyond, the sky flooded with yellow and rose. She is accompanied by a small attendant, and her royal cart awaits her under a blossoming tree. The inset above shows a tray of food and a sake cup beneath drapery. A lovely image with beautiful color and detailing, including embossing on the white kimono.
