Samurai in a Dragon Coat

Comments - Interesting kabuki scene of a confrontation between two samurai. The warrior at left recoils with an angry expression, throwing his hand out before him. The daimyo at right glares back at him with a tight-lipped frown, a fan in his hand. His blue coat features a fierce dragons, red flames, and swirling clouds, worn over a black kimono tucked into geometric print pants. The figures are set off by a deep red sky with drapery overhead. The actor at left is Nakamura Shikan. A colorful design with expressive figures.
