Original Yasuda Yukihiko (1884 - 1978) Japanese Woodblock Print
Plum at Dawn

Comments - Beautiful limited edition woodblock print based on Yasuda Yukihiko's painting "Plum at Dawn." Yasuda Yukihiko was one of the founders of the nihonga style of Japanese painting. White blossoms and buds dot the tangled branches, which are beautifully detailed to look like a painting, an effect difficult to achieve in woodblock printing. A lovely, large format design. Published by Bijutsu with publisher's information in left margin.
