Comments - Great kabuki image of a warrior gripping a spear in one hand. He scowls as he looks to the side, holding the weapon tightly. He wears armor over a green kimono with a design of circular medallions, a white sash tied around his waist. His short hair sticks up at the back and sides, giving him an imposing appearance. A handsome subject with lively color, nicely bordered by a simulated black lacquer frame detailed with burnishing.
