Comments - Charming scene of a Meiji princess and ladies-in-waiting paying a spring visit to Kinryuzan Temple in Asakusa. In the center, an attendant leads the princess by the hand as another shelters her with an umbrella. At right, soldiers or policemen in black uniforms stand in front of the crowd gathered to watch. At upper left, dignitaries in black suits and top hats line the balcony of the temple. A ladder leans against the roof of the structure and a flock of birds takes flight. A colorful and attractive design, detailed with embossing on the white kimono.
