Japanese Cedar Production - Interesting print from an educational series depicting the stages in growing and processing Japanese cedar trees. Subjects include preparing the seedlings for planting, pruning small branches, and carpenters cutting wood into planks and smoothing beams. Prints such as these were used to help educate students. A fascinating look at this important industry, nicely detailed.
