Comments - Interesting kabuki portrait of Sawamura Tanosuke III as the nun Kiyoharu, turning away in fright as someone grabs the end of her light blue obi, holding her sleeve to her mouth she kneels on the floor. She wears a blue kimono lined with red and adorned with bows on the sleeves, her hair pulled back into a ponytail tied with yarn. A step leads to a bare room behind her. An expressive figure in a nicely detailed setting.
