Hall of the Thirty-three Bays - Handsome view of the Hall of Thirty-three Bays in Fukagawa. This large, impressive structure was built during the Edo period to encourage martial arts, and archery competitions took place in the long courtyard. An interesting panoramic view, with the city's rooftops stretching out to the sea in the distance. This unsigned design is based on the same subject by Hiroshige, except with rooftops and trees along the horizon instead of ships on the water, but it is not by Hiroshige. An interesting subject, nonetheless, nicely detailed.
