Sukeroku - Handsome kabuki portrait of the otokodate or street knight Sukeroku, who is actually one of the famous Soga Brothers in disguise. The violet invalid's sash tied around his head indicates his lovesickness for the beautiful courtesan Agemaki. A bold composition with an expressive figure. This print comes with the original paper outer folder and a text panel in Japanese about the subject as issued by the publisher, rare to find.
