Terrific book of fourteen original paintings featuring a variety of subjects, including landscapes, people, an octopus, birds, and several portraits of the Buddhist monk Daruma, including a traditional Daruma doll. A couple designs include verses in calligraphy. The paintings are mounted to stiff pages with a vertical centerfold, attached accordion style and back to back. The book has cloth covers and fits into a blue cloth-covered outer case with closures. Neither the book nor the case is titled. An attractive presentation.
