Kinryuzan Temple in Asakusa - Attractive image of the Meiji Empress and her ladies-in-waiting arriving at Kinryuzan Temple to view the blossoming cherry trees. The elegantly dressed women stroll along a stone path towards a temple building, an attendant sheltering the empress with an umbrella. Soldiers and dignitaries dressed in top hats and tailcoats line the walkway to greet her at left, along with members of the public behind them. A flock of birds flutters overhead and a pagoda spire rises above the treetops at top center. A handsome design with vibrant color and wonderful detail, including embossing on the white kimono.
