Comments - Interesting kabuki portrait of Ichikawa Kodanji IV as the commoner Tsukimi no Sangoro, who is actually Higuchi Jiro Kanemitsu is disguise. He looks up with a distraught expression, his brows furrowed as he holds up a black lacquer object wrapped in brocade cloth, his other hand adjusting a dotted towel draped over his shoulder. A nice large expressive figure, detailed with fine line work in the hair and soft shading on the background.
