Ichikawa Danjuro as Uesugi Kenshin

Comments - Handsome kabuki portrait of Ichikawa Danjuro as the great warrior Uesugi Kenshin holding a bamboo pole, staring to the side with a sober expression. He wears a helmet topped with a horned demon with a monk's mantle wrapped over his head and shoulders, and a purple print vest over a fine suit of armor. A bold design, nicely detailed. Includes metallic pigment that has oxidized to a dark tone on the demon.

Image Size - 14" x 9 3/8" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with good color and detail as shown. Small repair, a few creases, stain at edge. Please see photos for details.
