Comments - Great portrait of Bando Hikosaburo V as the samurai Akechi Mitsuhide in "Oto ni hibiku sennari hisago" at the Shintomi Theater. He grimaces angrily as he looks to the side, gripping his cased sword with both hands. He wears a suit of armor over a white kimono with purple clouds, his hair tied back with a white sash. A simulated black lacquer frame borders the image at top and bottom. An expressive figure with nice detail in the armor.
