Comments - Lively depiction of Hachimantaro (Minamoto no) Yoshiie on a dappled horse at right as his men attack Abe no Sadato at left. Sitting astride a black horse, Sadato horse wields an iron club as he gallops along, knocking foot soldiers out of the way as he rides. At bottom center, a samurai in a horned helmet attempts to block the rider's way, throwing his arms out at his sides. Other troops rush forward to assist him, gripping swords and naginata. A great action-filled depiction of samurai in combat.

Condition - This print with nice detail as shown. Three attached panels. Vertical folds between panels. Small tears and large losses at edges, repaired. Wrinkling. Please see photos for details.
