The Noda Jewel River in Mutsu Province, circa 1835 - Handsome design from a Hiroshige series depicting Japan's famous Six Jewel Rivers, in an unusual vertical format. A beauty stands on the shore of the Noda River, lifting the edge of the robe draped over her head, a flock of plovers taking flight above. The first time we've offered this classic Japanese subject.
