Izumi Saburo Chikahira, No. 14 - Terrific image of the samurai Izumi Saburo Chikahira on a brown horse galloping along the shore, his bow in hand. The personal standard atop his back is topped with fringe and a fluttering red and white flag. Other warriors are gathered at lower left, just visible behind their own standards. Mist drifts across the water, with rooftops and a torii gate nestled among the green hills beyond. The first time we've seen this nicely detailed Kuniyoshi design.
