Lucky God Fukurokuju and Fukusuke Figures

Comments - Interesting image of Fukurokuju, one of Japan's beloved Seven Lucky Gods, dancing about, hopping on one foot as he holds a folding fan with an image of Mt. Fuji on it. The two children are styled after the traditional China dolls known as "fukusuke," which are considered lucky. The girl is called Fukujo and the boy is Fukusuke. The boy, holds a drum in one hand, holding his other hand to his face with a puzzled expression as the girl peeks at the pair from between a blind. A charming auspicious image for the New Year.
