Comments - Unusual depiction of a young boy steeling food from a vendor's stand as the elderly proprietor naps at left. At right, a man watches the thief from behind the blinds of the stall. At upper left, a heron wades in the shallow water near blossoming irises. An interesting subject published by Hanmoto for the Ministry of Education, one of a series of educational prints used to teach students. The first time we've seen this subject.
