Comments - Lovely shin-hanga print featuring three separate vertical designs of beauties. Each is elegantly dressed in a colorful kimono with tie-dyed motifs, fastened with an obi that features silver mica details. Beautifully drawn and detailed, with burnishing on the hair, a delicate embossed line along each nose, and additional silver mica on the fan and two kimono collars. Active during the 1920s - 1930s, Nakayama Shuko studied with the great Ito Shinsui, and is known for his beautiful shin-hanga portraits of women.
