Yadorigi, Chapter 49: Satsuma no Kami Tadanori, 1864 - Terrific portrait of Satsuma no kami Tadanori, the governor of Satsuma Province, composing a poem. He sits cross-legged on a fur rug, a roll of paper in hand and a portable writing set on the ground nearby. A shower of delicate petals falls down over him from the blossoming cherry tree above. Nice detail in the elegant clothing and armor. A handsome design.
