Zojo-ji Temple at Shiba in Snow, 1847 - 1852 - Peaceful winter view of a few visitors making their way through the deep snow to Zojo-ji Temple at Shiba. The tall snow-covered pines form a row across the landscape, with the red temples buildings nestled under the trees at left. Snowflakes fall silently over the dark gray sky, adding to the quiet atmosphere. A lovely design with fine bokashi shading in the sky.
