Kataoka Nizaemon VIII as Ikoma Kojiro and Iwai Kumesaburo III as Ohachi, 1857 - Handsome kabuki double portrait of Iwai Kumesaburo III as the beauty Ohachi and Kataoka Nizaemon VIII as her sweetheart, the samurai Ikoma Kojiro. She smiles happily as she looks up, but her companion frowns, his brows furrowed, one hand on the hilt of his sword. He wears a black kimono with a beautiful burnished geometric pattern. Nice expressive figures, detailed with fine line work in the hair, and embossing on the white kimono collar and white loincloth.
