The Kimparo Restaurant at Imado, circa 1825 - 1835 - Charming Edo era scene of a beauty at the Kimparo Restaurant at Imado. She relaxes on a bench covered with mats, looking over her shoulder as she takes a toothpick from her mouth. A large tray behind her holds platters and dishes of food, and a large bowl of water with cups floating in it. The inset above shows a view of the restaurant building at the water's edge. Wonderful detail in this attractive design. A rarely seen Eisen beauty series.
