Series; The Flowers and Birds of the Oriental Year
The Flowers and Birds of the Oriental Year - Charming design from Toshi Yoshida's rarely seen series "The Flowers and Birds of the Oriental Year," commissioned by the Franklin Mint in the early 1980s and printed in Toshi Yoshida's studio in Japan. Also known as the "Twelve Months of Birds," the series features a different bird and tree or flower for each month. These attractive designs feature lovely detail, attractive color, and soft bokashi shading. Each has an impressed signature in the bottom margin. A great choice for display, either singly or in groups.
