Haneda Ferry and Benten Shrine - Unique and creative Hiroshige perspective depicting the view from Haneda Ferry framed by the oar and the arms and leg of the ferryboat operator in the foreground. Benten Shrine can be seen beneath the pine trees at left, and few fishing boats are moored among the reeds. A passenger's umbrella is just visible at lower right, returning by boat from a visit to the shrine. An intriguing composition, beautifully colored and shaded.
