Series; Snow, Moon, and Flowers

Flowers, 1847 - 1852 - Charming scene of a beauty climbing the steps of a hill carrying a large cushion under her arm. She smiles as she looks down at her companion, who carries an elegant black lacquer tobacco set. Down below, a young boy carries a baby in his arms. A blossoming cherry tree frames a view of the mansion and a large pond at the base of the hill. An attractive design, detailed with embossing on the white kimono collars and trim.
