Comments - Attractive scene of a beauty writing a poem slip, looking up with a smile, her brush in hand. A writing set rests on the low black lacquer table before her. Behind her, a companion carries in a covered cup of tea on a lacquer stand. The screen behind her depicts splashing waves. Nicely detailed with embossing on the white kimono collars and trim, and burnishing on the black lacquer frame of the screen and the table.
