Comments - Charming scene of Prince Genji and beauties visiting a waterfall. The nobleman stands at right, grinning as he looks up, wearing a bamboo patterned coat and holding a folding fan. A young page behind him carries his sword. In the center, bathers stand beneath the rushing water, while at left, two beauties dry off after coming out of the river. A handsome design with a striking natural setting. Includes faint embossing on the white kimono collars and trim. Only the second time we've seen this design.
