Courtesan and Nobleman

Comments - Handsome kabuki double portrait featuring a courtesan and a nobleman. The beauty looks over her shoulder with an angry expression, her mouth slightly agape. She wears a white kimono decorated with bush clover and trimmed with a gray and white cloud print, yellow and green floral bands and a white lining with a beautiful embossed floral pattern. Her hair is arranged in two large loops, adorned with combs and decorative hairpins. He companion regards her with a frown, his black robe patterned with blossoms and swirls. An attractive design with expressive figures.
