Comments - Attractive portrait of a smiling beauty holding a fan. She wears a blue kimono with an interesting pattern of Genji symbols and birds in flight over a red under robe, tied with a brown and green print obi. Her hair is simply arranged in a smooth bun, adorned with a cluster of blue flowers. Softly shaded clouds flank the woman, with a square inset at upper left depicting a mother and child enjoying refreshments. A handsome design.
