Comments - Lovely image of a beauty in the wind, her hair and skirt flying in the breeze as two butterflies flutter past. Kiyoshi Nakajima lived and worked in Kyushu. Best known as a painter, he also created a small number of woodblock prints of young women in rather wistful or melancholy moods which were published by Kyoto Hanga-in. A beautiful contemporary subject, this print is an early state before all the colors have been printed.
