Series; Views of Famous Sights of Japan
Views of Famous Sights of Japan - Published between 1896 and 1897, Kiyochika's "Views of Famous Sights of Japan" depicts famous scenic areas throughout Japan. The series comprises 28 designs in a vertical format, rendered with an attractive sketch-like quality. The subjects range from dramatic waterfalls and mountains to more intimate views of people enjoying nature. A handsome Kiyochika landscape series that is rarely seen.
