Comments - Handsome kabuki portrait of Iwai Kumesaburo III as the young otokodate or street knight Tatsunami Gorokichi. He looks over his shoulder with a frown, his mouth slightly agape. His kimono features a striking pattern of plovers in flight above splashing waves, a blue cloth knotted about his shoulders and a sword at his side. An attractive design.
