Irises - Lovely design based on an antique screen featuring blossoming irises against a dark gold mica background. The square shapes of the background simulate squares of gold leaf, with cracks to give them an aged appearance. The deep blue violet flowers and dark green leaves create an attractive contrast with the background. A handsome nature subject.
