Gion Festival, July 17th - Great view of the annual Gion Festival in Kyoto held annually in July. A colorful festival float fills the page, with men in white robes waving fans atop the carriage for the float. The street is crowded with participants, while viewers watch from the upper stories of the buildings at left. The first time we've seen this lively design. Although not individually numbered, this print is number 51/100 from a limited edition of 100 prints (see seal below, not included).
