Series; Twelve Views of the Four Seasons in Kyoto

Autumn Color at Horyu - Handsome view of the grounds of Horyu Temple in autumn. Trees with fall foliage in rich hues of gold, orange, and deep green frame the structures, with a persimmon tree at left dotted with red-orange fruit. A gate leads through the wall at left, and small figures can be seen stopping at the shops across the road at right. An attractive subject, nicely detailed. Although not individually numbered, this print is number 51/100 from a limited edition of 100 prints (see seal below, not included).
