Prince Genji and Spring Flower Arranging

Comments - Attractive scene of Prince Genji sitting in a room with an extensive display of elegant floral arrangement on the platform behind him. He smiles happily as he watches a beauty and a young man arranging leaves and flowering branches for display. He wears an interesting purple coat patterned with small dogs or puppies under falling snow. An interesting subject with vibrant color, and a nice choice for a collector interested in ikebana, the ancient Japanese art of flower arranging.
