1/10th Scale Model of the Deity of Daiyuzan Temple Arriving in Tokyo

Comments - Fascinating depiction of a procession carrying a 1/10th scale model of the deity of Daiyuzan Temple arriving in Tokyo. Groups of men and women in matching dress carrying banners wind their way back and forth across the scene, the revered statue carried in a special palanquin at the start of the procession near top center. Townspeople line the shops at right and the edge of the road at upper left, watching solemnly. A line of banners marches across the top of the scene beyond a low lying cloud, crossing over the arched bridge in the distance. A great image with wonderful detail. The first time we've seen this triptych.
