Comments - Lovely five-panel design of elegantly dressed courtesans strolling through the Yoshiwara beneath blossoming cherry trees. The beauty at left wears a kimono patterned with a lion and peonies. The woman in the center has an obi decorated with a pheasant, while a rabbit appears on the obi of the beauty to the right of her. A fence encloses flowering shrubs beneath the cherry trees, with glowing lanterns at intervals and men walking along the far side of the street, including a servant carrying a large tray of food. A terrific Edo era beauty design in a rare five-panel format.
