Comments - Handsome kabuki portrait of Ichimura Uzaemon XII as Toneri Sakuramaru, one of samurai triplets who become the victims of divided loyalties int he play "Sugawara Denju Tenerai Kagami." He tilts his head with a worried smiles as he looks out of the corners of his eyes, clutching a deep woven hat under his arm. He wears a boldly patterned kimono over a red under robe decorated with his namesake cherry blossoms (sakura). A nice expressive figure.

Condition - This print with good detail as shown. Stitching holes at side, repaired. Vertical folds, wrinkling throughout. Please see photos for details.
