Ichikawa Ebizo V as Otomo no Kuronushi, 1850

Comments - Great kabuki portrait of Ichikawa Ebizo V as the samurai Otomo no Kuronushi, his arm and leg wrapped around a rustic wooden pole behind a garden gate. He wears a striking black kimono with a spider web pattern over a suit of armor trimmed with fringe, his short hair sticking out atop his head with longer locks falling over his shoulders. Snow covered bamboo frames the scene. An interesting design, nicely composed.

Image Size - 14 1/4" x 10"+ top margin as shown

Condition - This print with good detail as shown. A few repairs, creasing. Please see photos for details.
