Good and Evil Influences - Fantastic scene depicting good and evil influences on people in daily life. Good and evil appear as tiny humanoids with the appropriate kanji character for good or evil on each face. Wearing only red loincloths, the good and evil imps battle each other, vying for control of the humans in the scene. At lower right, an evil imp sits on the arm of a crying child, while a good figure grabs him by the leg, attempting to console him. At lower left, the good and evil powers are engaged in a tug of war with the red sash tied around the waist of the man in the center. Beside him, two evil spirits float around the beauty's shoulder, holding a fishing pole with a double-barbed hook. A fascinating design with wonderful detail. The first time we've seen this design.
