Scene from Ono no Tofu Aoyagi Suzuri - Interesting kabuki scene from the play Ono no Tofu Aoyagi Suzuri of Ono no Yorikaze kneeling in a garden, reaching forward to take a cloth parcel of money from Ono no Michikaze. Yorikaze looks up with a sober frown as Michikaze scowls at him angrily. He stands beside a garden gate, a white cloth wrapped around his head against the cool evening air. Autumn grasses and blossoms fill the garden beneath maple leaves just beginning to change color. From left, the actors are Kawarazaki Gonjuro I and Bando Hikosaburo V. Nice expressive figures in an interesting setting.
